It's clear from the issues that follow that Australia's HR concerns around diversity, wellbeing and the fallout of COVID-19 are being felt by fellow HR and people leaders worldwide.

 
 

CIPD Good Work Index

The CIPD is the chartered HR body for people professionals and is based in the UK. They have published this year's CIPD Good Work Index:

"This year’s report tracks the fallout of COVID-19’s impact on job quality and reveals that work-life balance, health and wellbeing, job security and the rising cost of living are key issues. Our evidence suggests that there is still work to be done to support career development and improve line manager capability to improve staff retention. But also shows that the ‘great resignation’ or ‘great rethink’ has been somewhat overstated."

SHRM

SHRM, otherwise known as the Society for Human Resources Management is a US HR membership body. They have curated content to help with the recent Roe v. Wade decision: Navigating Roe v. Wade in the Workplace.

The resource page includes, "Three Keys to Civility at Work", observing, "Our society is deeply divided, and heated conversations at work are unavoidable."

Institute for Human Resource Professionals

Singapore's IHRP has published How can companies facilitate Manpower Transformation by tapping on PMETs and the Silver Generation?

The report tackles concerns around workforce reduction, "As a country, we need to manage the transition of senior workers as well as PMETs to manage the potential implications of the aging population and shrinking workforce."

CIPD Middle East

The CIPD's extends beyond the UK, to Asia, the Middle East and Ireland.

The CIPD in the Middle East produces a yearly report on the UAE and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the latest one being People Profession 2021: United Arab Emirates and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia survey report. YouGov did the survey in region providing unique insights into the profession in the Middle East.

"The report provides an annual benchmark for the people profession, combined with a year-on-year overview," states the CIPD.
