Inside The Show Bringing Google Amazon And Canva To Sydney

Free two-day show at ICC Sydney unites 2000+ business leaders to move workplace mental health from awareness to measurable, system-wide change.

Workplace mental health has become too important to leave to good intentions alone.

Across Australian organisations, leaders are being asked to look more closely at what shapes people’s experience of work, from psychosocial safety and workplace culture to leadership, workload, technology, financial wellbeing and access to meaningful support.

That is the thinking behind the National Mental Health & Wellbeing at Work Show, taking place at ICC Sydney on 10-11 March 2027.

Created in response to a growing and urgent need for practical, accessible and meaningful approaches to workplace mental health and wellbeing, the free-to-attend event will bring together more than 2,000 HR, P&C and business leaders for two days of learning, connection and practical ideas.

Rather than treating workplace wellbeing as a single program or initiative, the show takes a broader look at what organisations can do to create healthier, safer and more supportive workplaces.

Across four conference stages and 75+ sessions, the program explores a wide range of issues, including psychosocial safety and compliance, AI and work redesign, executive leadership and performance, DEI and cultural safety, financial wellbeing, frontline and incident support, learning and capability, mental health and crisis care, solutions and innovation, and culture and retention.

For leaders navigating a rapidly changing workplace, the breadth matters. It creates an opportunity to move beyond high-level conversations and explore the practical decisions, strategies and approaches organisations are using to improve outcomes for their people.

Bringing leading voices together from Google, Amazon, Canva and more...

The speaker program brings together perspectives from some of Australia’s most recognisable organisations and workplace mental health leaders.

Confirmed speakers include Jo Keiko Terasawa, Global Head, Googler Engagement at Google; Marie Boland, CEO of Safe Work Australia; Steven Worrall, CEO of Telstra; Michelle Theophilou, Head of People Experience & Technology at Amazon; Georgie Harman, CEO of Beyond Blue; Penny Myerscough, Chief Mental Health Officer of CommBank; and Nicole Singh, Global Wellbeing Lead at Canva.

They’ll be joined by more than 100 speakers from across Australia, including leaders from organisations such as Unilever, Bupa, Canva, Adobe, and many more.

The result is a program that brings together different viewpoints, from workplace mental health and safety to people and culture, leadership, organisational performance and lived experience—giving attendees the chance to understand how these issues intersect in the real world.

Wellbeing beyond the conference room

The event will also put a different spin on the traditional conference format.

Alongside the sessions, attendees will have opportunities to take part in activities designed to support connection, movement and wellbeing. A dedicated Wellbeing & Networking Zone will provide space to recharge, meet other attendees and have conversations in a more relaxed setting.

There will also be therapy dogs on site, offering attendees to pause and relax during the day, as well as a fun run through Darling Harbour for those who want to get active, connect with fellow attendees and start the day differently.

It is a deliberate part of the event’s approach: conversations about workplace wellbeing should not only be informative. They should also be human, engaging and enjoyable.

For organisations considering how to strengthen their approach to workplace mental health, psychosocial safety and employee wellbeing, the show offers an opportunity to hear from leading practitioners, compare approaches and take away practical ideas.

It is also a chance to connect with peers facing similar challenges. With attendees expected from diverse industries and organisation sizes, the event provides a broader view of what is working, where gaps remain, and how different workplaces are responding to an evolving risk and wellbeing landscape.

With registration free, the event is designed to make participation accessible to leaders across industries and organisation sizes.

The National Mental Health & Wellbeing at Work Show takes place on 10–11 March 2027 at ICC Sydney.

Places are expected to fill quickly, so those looking to attend are encouraged to secure their spot early. Register for free.
