The Circle Back Initiative and Canva on a better way to treat candidates

The Circle Back Initiative’s founder, Steve Gard, and Canva’s talent attraction lead, Charlotte Anderson, spoke to The HR Leader about why they’re on a mission to make sure candidates are treated well.

Mr Gard explained why he began The Circle Back Initiative, and Ms Anderson commented on why Canva has embraced the ethos behind the initiative. The discussion delved into why the promise to treat candidates well is a win for both job seekers and employers in terms of branding and EVP.

For candidates who have experienced 'ghosting' and poor treatment during the job application process, job hunting with organisations who have signed up to The Circle Back Initiative will be a welcome change.
