The Workplace Wellbeing Event That Goes Beyond The Conference Room

From therapy dogs to a Darling Harbour fun run, the Mental Health & Wellbeing at Work Show is building a different kind of event experience.

What does a workplace mental health event actually look like when it takes its own message seriously?

That is the question the National Mental Health & Wellbeing at Work Show is trying to answer when it opens at ICC Sydney on 10–11 March 2027.

The free-to-attend two-day show brings together more than 2,000 HR, People & Culture and business leaders for a program built around practical ideas, genuine connection and an experience designed to model the kind of culture the conversations are about.

Four stages. 75+ sessions. Real breadth.

The program runs across four concurrent conference stages: Big Ideas, Leadership, What Works and AI @ Work. Together they cover a wide range of topics including psychosocial safety and compliance, AI and work redesign, executive leadership and performance, DEI and cultural safety, financial wellbeing, frontline and incident support, mental health and crisis care, and culture and retention.

Rather than a single-track conference, the format gives attendees the flexibility to move between stages and build a program that reflects their own priorities and challenges.

Bringing leading voices together from Google, Amazon, Canva and more...

The speaker program brings together perspectives from some of Australia’s most recognisable organisations and workplace mental health leaders.

Confirmed speakers include Jo Keiko Terasawa, Global Head, Googler Engagement at Google; Marie Boland, CEO of Safe Work Australia; Steven Worrall, CEO of Telstra; Michelle Theophilou, Head of People Experience & Technology at Amazon; Georgie Harman, CEO of Beyond Blue; Penny Myerscough, Chief Mental Health Officer of CommBank; and Nicole Singh, Global Wellbeing Lead at Canva.

They will be joined by more than 100 speakers from organisations including Unilever, Bupa, Adobe, Allianz, QBE, Ramsay Health, EY, MinterEllison and many more.

A therapy dog zone, a fun run and a place to recharge.

Alongside the sessions, the show offers a range of wellbeing activities designed to give attendees a genuine break from the floor and put the event’s own values into practice.

A dedicated Therapy Dog Zone, run by Delta Therapy Dogs, gives delegates the chance to spend time with trained therapy dogs during the day. It is a simple, effective reminder of what meaningful support for mental health can look like in practice.

For those who want to get active, a fun run through Darling Harbour on the morning of Day 2 offers the chance to move, connect with fellow attendees and start the day differently.

A Wellbeing and Networking Zone on the exhibition floor provides a quieter space to recharge, sit down and have conversations away from the pace of the main program.

Together, these activities are a deliberate part of the event’s design. Conversations about workplace wellbeing should not only be informative. They should also be human, engaging and something people actually enjoy.

Free to attend. Open to all.

Unlike many industry events, the Mental Health & Wellbeing at Work Show is entirely free for delegates to attend. By removing the registration fee, the show is designed to make these conversations accessible to leaders across industries and organisation sizes. Everyone who needs to be in the room should be able to get there.

Places are expected to fill quickly, so those looking to attend are encouraged to secure their spot early. Register for free.
