Robert Half recognised as one of the best employers for women

Great Place to Work’s (R) Australia's Best Workplaces for Women 2022 list has recognised Robert Half as one of the top 30 employers for gender equality.

Senior managing director of Robert Half Asia-Pacific, David Jones, is thrilled with the recognition.

He said in a statement: “Diversity and inclusion are critical to our business success, and this recognition not only acknowledges our dedication to creating and maintaining an equitable workplace, it is also a testament to the culture that each of our employees have helped to establish.”

Mr Jones continued: “We are proud to showcase the excellent work they do for our people, our clients and candidates, and the communities where we live and work.”

To gather results, Great Place to Work(R) conducted its Trust Index (C) survey, with the opinions of female employees used to determine how inclusive its culture is. Gender diversity of management at a company is also taken into consideration, and an organisation must have at least 50 women employed to qualify.

Mr Jones said: “Globally, providing a great workplace experience for all our employees is a consistent strategic priority for our organisation. This recognition underscores our commitment to supporting the women at Robert Half. From our benefits programs to our professional development and leadership opportunities, we are proud to foster an environment that empowers women to succeed in all aspects of their lives.”

2022 has seen Robert Half’s gender parity noticed by multiple organisations, with FORTUNE and Forbes ranking the company on their best workplaces for women lists. Robert Half was also voted one of the best places to work overall, with Great Place to Work(R) noting that 94 per cent of employees enjoy working for the company.

Mr Jones said: “Aside from actively supporting the Women’s Empowerment Principles, a joint initiative of the UN Global Compact and UN Women, Robert Half has launched a number of internal Employee Network Groups as part of our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion program, including Global Women’s Employee Network (GWEN).”

He added: “GWEN’s mission is to champion and amplify women’s perspectives while creating networks, community, and growth opportunities for female professionals. Driven by our employees across the world, these groups play a significant role in delivering positive change and new ways of thinking in our workplace.”

Robert Half also ranked number 541 on Forbes’ World’s Best Employers list 2022.

Commenting on the Forbes 2022 recognition, president and CEO of Robert Half, M. Keith Waddell, said in a statement: “We are proud of our efforts to foster a culture where our employees around the world feel engaged, supported and valued.”

“Our enterprise values of integrity, inclusion, innovation and commitment to success are at the foundation of everything we do at Robert Half. Our employees, and their commitment to living these core values every day, are what make us a great place to work,” said Mr Waddell.
