CEO of KnowBe4, Stu Sjouwerman, commented on the new solution: “With SecurityCoach, we are introducing a new product category that automates the delivery of real-time security coaching and advice to help end users enhance their cyber security knowledge and strengthen their role in contributing to a strong security culture.”

KnowBe4 noted that according to Verizon’s 2022 Data Breach Investigations Report, ‘human element’ is involved in 82 per cent of breaches to company security. Verizon say Ransomware breaches have increased by 13 per cent this year – more than the previous five years combined.

SecurityCoach will offer businesses security coaching in real time to help immediately prevent any breaches. The software reportedly detects and responds to issues of data security. The system will give employees coaching to help with security risks as they occur.

Mr Sjouwerman continued: “KnowBe4 is driving a new human-centric category in cyber security (HDR), entirely focused on helping our customers improve their security posture by inoculating their end users against security threats using our new-school security awareness platform.”

“We anticipate this to be one of the most impactful products that we have ever introduced, making a significant difference in improving security culture and enabling IT/security professionals to conduct meaningful and measurable automated security coaching campaigns,” he said.

HR Leader has previously discussed KnowBe4 when commenting on Equal Pay Day 2022 in August.
