Atturra Australian Payroll Association Enter Strategic Partnership

ASX-listed technology business Atturra Partners is teaming up with the Australian Payroll Association (APA) to enhance payroll operations by leveraging expert people, streamlined processes, and innovative technology to support clients.

The partnership, Atturra said in a statement, reinforces its commitment to people, process, and technology by delivering comprehensive payroll and HR solutions and is built on a shared mission to simplify, optimise, and modernise payroll solutions across Australia.

The collaboration between the APA and Atturra “amplifies Atturra’s payroll and HR offering to the market, a strategic, solution-oriented approach that prioritises business outcomes over product sales”, it continued.

Australia’s industrial relations landscape complexity “has been compounded over the past year by a series of significant changes”, Atturra continued, through the introduction of new casual conversion pathways, the enactment of Right to Disconnect and an increase in the superannuation guarantee to 12 per cent. Moreover, there are ongoing challenges in navigating a “complicated” awards system.

“Making mistakes in the pay office can put organisations on the wrong side of the law, not a good look for any brand seeking to build market share and great employee experiences,” it said.

Atturra’s general manager for payroll and HR services, Nikita Potter, said: “We’re thrilled that this partnership will help us better serve our clients. By aligning with APA, we ensure our clients benefit from real-time legislative updates, industry insights and knowledge that helps address their business problems, meets their changing needs and sets them up for sustained growth.”

The entity’s general manager of strategic markets, Heather Pettenon, added: “We’re seeing organisations increasingly seeking alternatives to traditional tech-focused approaches.”

“This partnership cements our commitment to being truly client-centric and focused on results, ensuring our clients receive the holistic support they need now, while laying the foundation for future growth and change.”

As part of the partnership, Atturra will now be listed in the Australian Payroll Association’s software directory service, which guides its membership base of 7,000 payroll professionals in their technology decisions.
